My Running Story

Running was 100% responsible for helping me overcome self-imposed limitations + for establishing my healthy identity.

If you give it a fair shot, I know it can do the same for you.

Running came into my life when I needed it most.

After years of attempting the sport (and failing), I made up my mind that I just wasn’t cut out for it.

I mean, I could barely run a minute without gasping for air.

To me, this meant I was incapable.

As years passed, I came to a point in my life where I felt incapable of pretty much anything. My self-worth was at an all-time low.

I couldn’t give you an exact reason why, but something in me decided to give running one last try.

I wanted to prove to myself that I was capable of anything I set my mind to.

A year later, I ran my first marathon.

Running is a metaphor for life. You get out of it what you put into it.

Trust me…if I can become a runner, so can you!
